A Sidetrack In Innsmouth

Dear readers, I am delighted, and somewhat dismayed, to say I have finally come across the life of innsmouth. This writer had stumbled upon an odd event while, once again lost in the fog. The theater, usually dead silent, was a buzz with voices and the smell of popcorn. Dear reader, you know how this rather silly writer tends to follow her nose.

Upon entering, I was quite surprised to see  a wide variety of unusual denizens. Tails, horns and more are not uncommon, several people seemed to be partially mechanical. I slipped in and took a seat. After a few moments the host of the night took the stage to announce the movie. Apparently this is a weekly occurrence I had simply missed due to being lost in the swamp! However, the host was far more than one could imagine

First impressions of said host.. To put it quite lightly, man or creature, was a truly terrifying sight to behold. From what I understood, his name was  Captain Street Brightflame Reaper. However I do not know which of those he prefers. This man towered on the stage in what appears to be some kind of gas mask. I would be lying if I said that I was not somewhat intimidated by his glowing eyes and statue. He looked as if he would kill before speaking.

Much to my delight, and ease of mind, the host as well as those viewing, seemed to be of good nature, and being an outsider did not seem to be a bother. The movie being played seemed to be of a language forgein to all, which simply led to a few rounds of laughter and many snide and hilarious comments. However, being a stranger, and with these strange beings about. A sense of dread is to be expected. And of course, if you do decide to join in dear reader. Do not be afraid to leave a tribute in the chest.

This was a true treat to stumble into, If you would like to join in the fun.. I would recommend you find your way HERE on wednesdays at around 1 pm.
